One-on-one nutrition care for women navigating PMOS, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and hormonal change. Real clinical depth, lived experience, and a plan built around your body and your life.
I'm a registered dietitian specializing in women's and hormonal health. But before the credentials, here's what really shaped how I practice: I've lived this.
I was originally trained in medicine and earned my medical degree in the Dominican Republic. But when I was navigating my own PMOS, the weight gain, the acne, the facial hair, the hair loss, the mood changes (if you've had it, you know the list), I realized how little of my medical training had prepared me to actually manage any of it. So I did what so many of us end up doing: I started researching on my own. Somewhere in that process, I fell in love with nutrition. That love became a second degree. I went back for my master's, earned the Evidence-Informed Award, and became a registered dietitian.
I also know the other side of this firsthand. I spent years caught in restrictive eating, and I learned the hard way how much it takes out of you mentally, and how, in the end, it just doesn't work. Today I'm an unapologetic foodie who believes nutrition isn't a diet; it's about building healthy habits you can actually live with long term.
Fifteen-plus years into my own journey, I help women navigate PMOS, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, and the hormonal shifts that come with each season of life, all through telehealth, with a plan built for your body and your life. If you're tired of all-or-nothing thinking and food rules that run your life, you're in the right place.
Choosing who to trust with your health is personal. Here's what you can expect from working with me.
I've navigated my own PMOS for over fifteen years, and lived through the restrictive eating that only takes a toll. I understand what you're feeling because I've felt it too.
My background in medicine means I can look at your symptoms and history together, and coordinate with your physician when it helps.
I review your bloodwork as part of your care, so your nutrition and your medical picture finally line up.
I don't believe in rigid plans that fall apart the moment life gets busy. We build habits that fit your real life, so the changes actually last.
I work with clients in both English and Spanish, because these conversations matter most in the language you're most comfortable in. Atención en español.
PMOS, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or perimenopause, and you want nutrition built around what your body is actually doing right now.
The fatigue, the weight changes, the skin and cycle issues are real, and you want someone who takes them seriously.
Years of all-or-nothing eating have worn you down, and you're ready for a way of eating you can actually live with, without the guilt.
Someone who reads your labs, understands the physiology, and works alongside your doctor rather than around them.
All sessions are self-pay while I complete insurance credentialing. HSA and FSA cards are welcome, and a superbill is available on request.
From your first appointment to lasting change, here's what your journey looks like.
Once your initial consult is scheduled, you'll receive an invitation to Practice Better and intake forms to fill out more than 24 hours before your appointment.
We review your history, labs, symptoms, and routine, then set clear goals with 1-3 action steps. I'll set up your Practice Better journal and send you a written recap so you know exactly what to do next.
We meet regularly (often weekly at first). We review your wins and barriers, look at journal highlights, troubleshoot meals and snacks, and adjust your goals so progress keeps moving.
We track symptoms, keep what helps, and update goals to fit your routine. Shift to biweekly or monthly sessions, and maintain progress with follow-ups or a package renewal.
No question is too small. Here are the ones I hear most often.
Not yet. I'm currently completing insurance credentialing, so for now all sessions are self-pay.
I accept HSA and FSA cards, and I can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement isn't guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.
A superbill is an itemized receipt for our sessions that includes the diagnosis and procedure codes your insurance company needs. If your plan has out-of-network nutrition benefits, you can submit it to request partial reimbursement for our work together.
I'll provide one on request. Reimbursement isn't guaranteed, since it depends entirely on your individual plan, so I always recommend calling your insurer first to ask whether they cover out-of-network medical nutrition therapy (CPT codes 97802 and 97803).
All sessions are 100% virtual, held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. I can work with you if you're located in Florida, Georgia, Washington, Ohio, Oregon, Illinois, or Pennsylvania, based on where you are at the time of our session.
Not upfront. My goal is to help you make confident food decisions on your own, so we build your foundational habits first and bring in structured meal guidance once those are in place. That's what makes the changes actually last, instead of another rigid plan.
No. I'm a foodie myself, and I believe all foods can fit. We focus on how the foods you love fit into your life and your goals, not on cutting things out or following a list of rules.
Yes. I work with clients in both English and Spanish, because these conversations matter most in the language you're most comfortable in. Atención en español.
Once we set your appointment, you'll receive intake forms by email to complete beforehand. If you have any recent lab work or a list of your current medications, please send those along too, they help me get the full picture from day one.
Your appointment time is held just for you. A $75 fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled session.
